Time for Family to Stick Together

Hello everyone,

I am writing to you today, attempting to bring us all together to bring hope to one of our own. Chris Vennekamp's oldest son Madison, has been diagnosed with a rare type of cancer known as t-cell lymphoma. He is going through heavy chemotherapy and will be for the next 2 years. This is an extremely serious situation for our family and the Vennekamp crew. We are asking you all, to send some get well soon
messages of hope to this lil' soldier. A card, a balloon, an xbox 360 game, candy [not chocolate, but he likes tic tacs and jelly beans, etc] or anything that you think a 13 year old boy would like.

He is in the hospital now, until at least friday. He may be able to go home and do outpatient treatment afterwards, and our fingers are crossed. If you would like to send love via myspace, please do so on Chris's page: http://www.myspace.com/73148277

Madison can be found at:

Emory Children's Center
Madison Whitaker
rm 366
2015 Uppergate Dr
Atlanta GA 30322

I can not begin to understand how they are feeling right now, so please, lets all get together and support Chris, Madison, and the Vennekamp family,

Thank you
Brandon Bond

revised letter:

Hello everyone,

I am writing to you today, attempting to bring us all together to bring hope to one of our own. One of our tattoo artists, Chris Vennekamp and his family need some help. His oldest son Madison, has been diagnosed with a rare type of cancer known as t-cell lymphoma. He is going through heavy chemotherapy and unfortunately will be for the next 2 years. This is an extremely serious situation for our family and the Vennekamp crew. We are asking you all, to send some get well soon messages of hope to this lil' soldier. He loves science fiction and horror movies. Please send a card, a balloon, an xbox 360 game, magazines, candy [not chocolate, but he likes tic tacs and jelly beans, etc] shirts, or anything that you think a 13 year old boy would like.

Madison is facing a tremendously difficult journey, and needs all the support and encouragement possible from all of us. He needs to know that we are behind him.

Re: Time for Family to Stick Together

I would like to get Chris' son some newer movies that may not be out on DVD yet. They of course are "my secret way of getting them". Great quality and might help in passing some time while dealing with Chemo. Not sure what his son is into but i could just send some and Chris can do with them as he may.

New movies like
Indian Jones' new one
Hellboy II
IronMan

can't really think of any other ones right off the top of my head but i'll just throw in a bunch and send them. Also if Chris knows of any music his son likes or would want, i can download and make some CDs for him if i can find them.

Rockstar, what do you think. Let me know and i'll get started this week.
