So, this is a sad story, but Dad's mom was telling Mom this today, and wants Mom to help and she doesn't know how.

Does anyone know any reputable pittie rescues?

Dad's brother-in-law's parents have a pittie that they've had for 4 years. He's a good boy, his name is Zeus, and he's nice and good with kids. They have to move, and nobody will rent to them because of him being a Pitbull. Their son (a total psycho nutjob) overheard them saying that if they can't find someone, they'll have to put him down. So, he took the dog outside and tried to put him down WITH AN AXE. He cut him between the eyes but he got caught before he did any permanent damage. This guy has killed a ferret with a hammer before.

This dog needs to find a home quick, away from this nutjob. Do you know where I could start in finding Zeus a home? I'm clueless, and they pretty much told Mom that she's the only one who can help.
